Welcoming the Beefeaters

Side by Side Special Needs School hosted a visit from a couple of Beefeaters as part of its series of lessons on understanding different countries in the world. Beginning with Britain, the famed British icons visited the school to help the children explore the way in which Britain, and the monarchy in particular, works.

The pupils were delighted to interact with the Beefeaters who explained about their roles and the values and the traditions associated with the monarchy and Tower of London. The visit was just one example of the school’s varied curriculum, the range different trips and activities the pupils participated in and enjoyed.
