As they do every year, our pupils enjoyed a wonderful hands-on Matzah Bakery experience this week, bringing the story of Pesach to life in an engaging and meaningful way.

During the session, pupils had the opportunity to take part in the full matzah-making process, from mixing and rolling the dough to preparing it for baking, all within the traditional time frame. The activity provided a valuable opportunity to connect learning from the classroom with a practical, sensory experience.

The workshop supported pupils’ understanding of the significance of matzah during Pesach, while also encouraging communication and engagement at a level appropriate to each child’s individual needs.

It was fantastic to see our pupils so involved and enthusiastic throughout, enjoying both the process and the outcome. Experiences like this are an important part of how we support learning in a way that is accessible, meaningful and memorable for every child.
