Last week, our pupils enjoyed our third annual Careers Week, designed to help them explore different jobs, discover their strengths, and think about what they might like to do in the future, all in ways that suit their individual learning needs.
Throughout the week, pupils took part in interactive discussions about careers, the skills and qualities needed for different roles, and reflected on their own achievements and goals. They tried a variety of hands-on activities, including practical DIY, a role-play hospital with real medical equipment, and a PE session where they could step into leadership roles and experience what it’s like to be a teacher.
Older pupils also explored employability skills, learning about CVs, job applications, and what they need to develop to reach their dreams. Careers Week was a fun, engaging, and inspiring experience, giving pupils a real taste of the wider world and the many possibilities that lie ahead.
