All about Rosh Hashona & Bees

Side by Side were honoured with a visit from a beekeeper, Hazel Schenk. She spoke to the children about her hobby of looking after bees and and how she makes honey. The children were able to see a hive and learnt about the queen bee. 

The children were delighted to be able to dip their own apple in honey in honour of Rosh Hashona!
