This week, the Lilac class took a wonderful educational trip to the Museum of London - Docklands, integrating their Geography and SMSC curriculum with a thematic focus on water. The museum, renowned for depicting London's history, dedicated this visit to exploring the significance of the Thames River and its pivotal role in the city's development, from ancient times to the present day.

The day was specifically tailored to accommodate our students' needs, coinciding with the museum's quiet SEND day, and enhanced by their thoughtful decision to mute exhibit noises, creating an optimal learning environment for the students.

The students participated in four interactive activities led by the museum's trained staff, which were both educational and engaging. These activities not only captivated the students but also encouraged their communication and engagement, enriching their learning in a truly memorable setting.
