Chumash Seuda!

 

It came in the mail, the invitation, created with taste and flair,

It was written on cream embossed paper, their emblem was printed there,

It was addressed to the zeidys and bubbys of the children of Side by Side,

It had been sent out with huge emotions of accomplishment and pride;

 

At first I was unsure about going, not sure what I would see,

Having never been there before, it was all something new to me,

But curiosity won,and when the Chumash seuda took place, I was there, to witness that day . .

 . .The most mind blowing performance that took my breath away!

 

The children marched in, to the music playing, dressed in finery and crown,

A prouder bunch of kids you'd not find in london town!

Their feelings of fulfilment, of pride and such success,

Was mirrored on their faces, as they glowed with happiness!

 

They proceeded to perform, with pride and such perfection!

Fluent in their knowledge, passing all 'inspection'. . 

. . . with top marks of 10/10- performance 100 percent,

Here, we could truly see, what true torah learning meant!

 

There clapped their hands to the music, and their Rebbes stood by and saw,

Their efforts being rewarded, beyond all expectations - and more!

They had no inhibitions, they knew not of being shy,

They gave with all their being, their hearts were soaring high
