ELECTIONS

Whilst the rest of the UK were voting for a Prime Minister, at the school,  the children voted for something that meant a lot to their personal lives. With a big polling station in one of the classrooms, everyone got really involved!

There were 3 options to choose from. Do students want to have more COOKING facilities/lessons at the school or do students prefer more ART or MUSIC? The elections were explained and arranged on the children’s level so that they would understand the concept of elections.

Some of the students were so involved that when it was announced that ‘cooking’ won they were thrilled and  out with excitement that that is what they had voted for - they really gist of it!
